I have a bit of a dilemma, whilst at uni(derby)
i filled up my car (£40) on the 14th of december
payed on card, also i was with someone from uni that can back me up saying i actually payed on my card.
Well the my account is not even shown anything being payed for or pending payments etc.
like normally my available balance would of reduced by £40 and it would come
out in a few days, but this time my available balance has not being affected and the money is still in my account to spend!!
I dont know what to do, as i don't want to be accused of driving out without paying! And i dont want to spend it incase they
try and taking it and me getting bank charges etc!!
Has this happened to anyone else, and where do i stand?

Cheers
Connor

Don't spend the £40 in your account, leave it 28 days, and fook them off!

Also, youll be on cctv paying, so If the police turn up, tell them to fcuk off and check the cctv!

I wonder if they haven't requested the funds yet. Seems strange, but I'd wait a bit before fcuking them off.

A petrol station was displaying 00:00 p/l when I drove past. I wanted to fill my tank, but knowing my luck they wouldn't honour it or the price would change as I lifted the nozzle. lol

A few of my transactions haven't shown up yet either. I think the systems are just busy so I'd wait it out.

i tihnk the bank transfer system is being slowed up due to the christmas period. As said, if it isnt out in 28 days then its yours to keep

a few years ago my account suddenly lost £40. i checked the statements at the bank and a bp garage had taken the money out 4 weeks late. so my advise would be not to spend it as itl probably come out within the month sometime.

What is the prices down your way mate ? A wee bit off topic but I noticed here it had dropped 2p a litre

Not been out for a couple of days so no idea what it's at now - Hopefully it continues to go down :)

It ranges from 103.9 to about 108.9 for 95 ron unleaded around here.
The price will go up by 2.5p next month iirc as the VAT is back to 17.5%.

^ :wtf:

Don't worry about it fella as you have done nothing wrong. If you paid by Debit Card then it should be out of your account fairly quick but sometimes it does take a tad longer. If they'd have accused you of doing a runner then the feds would have been round your gaff by now.

Did you get a reciept for the transaction you made?

You did everything that was asked of you so don't worry.

your all wrong, all of you lol

I know because years ago i went on a spate of getting "free" petrol

all the petrol station does is report the incident, then your reg no is tagged, then when some nice officer checks your car it shows up, and your arrested and released with a caution, there is no visiting of your house lol

best thing to do is ring the police station and ask them if your reg no's been tagged

we get these all the time from petrol stations (as i work for the fuzz)

they just ring us up, tell us the reg of the car, we do some hunting around and try and get a contact number for the keeper of the car then ring you up and ask if you meant to drive off without paying. if you have got a reciept for paying, or tell them that you paid on your card and will prove it as soon as it shows on your statement then its a civil matter and we do nuffink else about it.
but if you paid for it, then no worries. :thumb:
