4speed- 5speed

I know this has been asked before but in search i couldn't get a clear
answer

I have a 1.2 carb which has a f10 4speed
i also have a f13cr 5speed
what is needed to make the gearbox fit/work
i have been told it should bolt on and then cut a plastic bung off or something similar
but meh

Yep, bolt on gearbox, the cut off plastic lug on gear lever (lift up rubber surrount and it will be white and about an inch thick on the right hand side of the lever.

will the standard 1.2 starter motor fit ok with that box in place ?

yes because he is only swapping the box, not the flywheel.

gotcha.. where as on the gte say, you have to swap flywheels in order to get the smaller box on right, i think thats where im going wrong lol
