Fuel Tank help..

2 Door Carb'd saloon, going to fuel injected, are the gte/gsi tanks the same shape?

I think the tanks are the same shape but there will be no swirl pot in the carb tank so you will have to change to an injection tank with a swirl pot!

Hi Andy, thanks for the reply, I know I need an injection tank due to the swirlpot issue, my question was if the gte/gsi tanks are the same shape as the 2 door saloon tanks..

All the tanks are the same so an MPi tank will fit fine. Dont forget to swap the fuel lines as well.

4/5door fuel tanks are different.

All 2/3 door tanks are the same shape and 4/5 door are the same, if your going to run a mpi tank Mark you'll have to cut the circle out on the offside where the bottom of the rear seat should be, or you won't be able to access the pump with the tank fitted should you need to replace it, I believe Andy had to do this
