air intake on carb

At the moment iv got one of those rubbish carbs on my 1.4, pier burg or something like that i would spell it right if i could open the bonnet but i cant because of snowlol is there any kind of induction accept for a replacement filter in the bin lid as i want to get rid of it to free up a bit more room in the bay:d
