Pft, turbo. 200bhp N/A BEAMS redtop. It is actually called a redtop (not just by chavs, I mean by Toyota), to distinguish it from the blacktop (210bhp iirc) and I believe also there's a bluetop as well.

Obviously know my engine codes too well! lol Spent too many years fu*king around with them for work! Getting the right engine code was important when programming etc. I'm not saying i agree with it's nickname for one second. As a yoof they were know as "valvers" to me. I usually now just call it the c20xe or the 20xe.

No its the term/sentence used to describe it '16valver' whereas 8's are referred to as '8valve' its not a '16redtop' is it, its a '16valver'

My facebook status, which is freshly updated, was referring to a FREE, yes... FREE Calibra which we picked up. It's Spectral Blue and really clean, with the added bonus of cloth seats (I hate leather). Its all down to personal opinion really. think the reason i hate the word redtop is when i used to drive my nova a few years ago when it was a 1.6 everyday without fail guys would ask me if it was a redtop.used to wind me up so much Lol.

Here in NI they are referred to as redtops.... not all by chavs either. If you say "I'm looking for a redtop" people will know straight away what your on about.
