Just loosen the bolts that secure the water pump. This is eccentrically mounted, so by turning it one way or the other you will increase/decrease the tension on the belt

yeah its water pump, guarentee your water pump sezies solid after a few miles after you slackened it, remember to put a new gasket on the pump too.

?15 for a new pump btw, id just replace them all. flush out water, loosen water pump take off belt then the reverse to put it all togethor.

there is a large "nut" around the water pump, like size 30 spanner that is what you need to turn after you have loosened the 3 bolts holding pump, (or use a flat blade thatll turn it)

have fun lol, took me a few hours to do all the above on my sr. i work very slow as well.

i found you dont need to slacken it..... if you do it so that the cam belt is taut on one side, and slack(ish) on the other, start from the slack side and prise it off the top wheel
