1.4 sr on 40s

just need a bit of advice i am building a sr replica with 1.4nv on twin webers
i have a kent spec r rally cam my problem is fueling can i run the camshaft pump or will i need to use something like one of the facet items any advice will be much appreciated :confused:

You can run the cam driven pump, as long as theres a lobe on the kent cam you are using. It will deliver enough fuel to run the 40s :)

cheers i had been told that but it was from a not very reliable source i think the cam has the lobe its out of a 1.3 but should be fine in the 1.4 ?

Yeah should be fine, well i never had a problem with my 1300 fuel wise. There are plenty of pumps out there if you want to go electric and then an in line regulator.

thats not so bad then i have a filter king fitted i would just rather use the camshaft pump because this is a low buget build plus the mk1 loom i have is chopped to fcuk i have had remake most of it took to days to get the coil working
