Got nova gsi seats for my trip, does anyone know whats involed in fitting the back seat as they are spilt seats and the trip is not?

Put them in but the middle where they split won't be secure or get the brackets from the GSi and get them welded to your base model shell...

Yeah, they'll lean against the parcel shelf and people will be able to sit on them, but I wouldn't leave the in for the MOT!

You need seat brackets from a car with split-folding rears.
A grinder will be required as I expected them to chisel off, not so. Some of the strongest welds on the car are used on the seat brackets, as is the washer bottle bracket spot welds!

Thank fcuk, don't want my washer bottle to break if I stove the front of the Nova. lol

Surely you can remove the brackets with a spot weld drill?
As said, proper welds to attach them to your shell. None of this gasless MiG pigeon sh!t. lol

Spot weld drill FTW. I had my washer bottle bracket off in seconds!! :confused:

Can be quite hard drilling the brackets off the floor tho if they're much thicker metal than the floor - well I find it hard anyway!
