just spent the weekend in east London (Leytonstone), saw a couple of sights etc and all very nice. pulled into a petrol station on the way home for journey snacks and was swiftly reversed into (he was trying to stop someone reversing into him!) the conversation ended within 30 seconds with him saying "well it dont look too bad mate, shouldnt cost too mch to fix. £200 be ok and call it quits? i just want fuel and to go home"


so i've had a nice weekend, the doors not tragic but i need a mirror (all on the cavbus) and been paid £200


you lot are nice people, i'm going back next week lol

Speaking as a nearly londoner (born and bred in staines wassupp) i would like to agree that we are indeed a lovely bunch of coconuts. :)

i reckoned either uninsured, or becase it was a very nice mk4 golf v5 4motion he possibly couldnt be bothered with the claim against him. also means my renewal isnt affected in january, as it "never happened" lol.

Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed you stay. It sounds like he was either in a rush and couldn't be bothered or a bit dodgey and didn't wan't the hassle. It's happened to my bro twice IIRC, both times got reversed into and the guy just offered to pay up for the damage and left.
