Thats what Adam meant bud, will adore cold damp air and go like fook:thumb:

I never had any carb icing issue with the 1.2 & a K&N with no hot air feed. You prob have to be in Scandinavia to get that shizzle or in 'The day after tomorrow' lol
you call that snow? this is what i found on my mk1 astra today

that's nothing, a mate of mine 150miles up north had 15-20 inches of snow. he had to dig out his nova.

Really? I used to get it all the time with my old hatch. So much so that I once had to put silver insulation tape over all the vents at the front in an attempt to keep the engine warm :(
Here's mine in the rather pathetic snow we had left last night

The road behind it had snow, which melted a little in the day, then froze over. Slidey slidey lol

Yep, no problems what-so-ever. I was always expecting it to happen which is why I kept a can of de-icer under my seat just in case, but it never came, thankfully. She always started fine too in the freezing cold :)

1.2 Merit ;)
Was (unfortunately) in Middlesbrough yesterday to collect parts and the guys s14a was 6-7 inches deep in snow. We've had 5-6, but the roads tend to be cleared around here. lol
The industrial estates are still proving fun. ToykYO drifting a LWB Nissan Terrano sure gets some looks. lol

Greg text me earlier to say he was in a wee bump - Knocked one of the wheels out of line
Not sure how serious it is though...

nothing too serious..
major pissed off, been having loads of fun in the snow round about here..has been snowy for the last week now and never had a problem..
the minute i go into the local town where there is no snow, i hit black ice! was only doing 16mph (even had time to look while sliding) and smacked into the kerb/centre island..
luckily no damage apart from a scuffed alloy and knocked the wheel back. bent a bottom arm!
i didnt feel as bad when i got my car out the way ans somebody came down behind me and did the same..
didnt make me feel as much as a tit! i could see the point if i had been messing around, it would be completly my own fault.
but as they say "always expect the unexpected"...
