Just a quick question, we are going to be fitting an xe into my mates corsa tomorrow hopefully, however we are unsure if the alternator works. what do you need to do to remove these? i know for a nova all i had to do was take my exhaust manifold off and i could drop it through the bottom. is it just as do-able in a corsa?
Should be even easier. More room.

im not 100% sure how to do it but i know that a mate had to change his altenator and it was quite a barstool
hmmm in mine i think it would come out form the top im running carbs though?
Two 13mm spanners.
8,10,15 and a 17mm socket.
I don't think even on carbs you'd get it out the top. Drop it straight out the bottom.
it drops straight out the bottom, just undo it. Think i took the bottom bracket off on mine as i was changing to single v setup
Rich, i've allways had to onbolt the manifold to system for a bit of cleanace.
is that on a nova or corsa though? Sure i didnt have to disconnect anything else

As said, this is for a corsa. i know for a nova its fairly easy as i did it on mine a few times last week. I know how to get the thing off just wanted to know if theres enough clearance through the bottom of the bay. i dont mind taking the exhaust off, i just wanted to know if it was possible :)
cheers for the replies :thumb:
