edit: how much would a stripped nova weigh with half cage:thumb:
im sure standard novas are about 700-800kg's
depends on model, they got heavier as got older
Hi A Standard Nova On The Road Weights About 800 Kg, With All The Interior Out And Dash About 660 Kg. My Nova Got All The Boot Floor Cut Out Fiber Glass Bonnet, Tailgate And Doors And It Weights 590ks And Still Grinding And Chopping To Do. The Lightest Nova I Know Of Is 540kg.

colin smith has a stupidly light nova, i think that is sub 600kg
As said, depends on the model. The lightest (in standard guise obviously) is 735Kg, but thats total poverty spec. GSi is about 865Kg, Durbos weigh around 880Kg.
Pov spec 735kg, normal spec/loons 750kg GTE/GSI 834kg
Edit: this post explains it all http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1265802&postcount=3
remember to weigh yourself as well, and not on the scales that wimmin use... cos they under read massively.

IIRC from the Haynes manual the lightest was 735KG for the pov spec and upto 850ish for the GSi's.
haynes doesn't include the dervs though, and they're tanks in comparison to the others

Using this site i did this with a combined guess of the cars weight, and my actual weight, it's not to far off, as mine does 13.5 @ 105mph.
Like the bhp per ton figure though..
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 185
Weight with Driver (KG) : 832
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 225.93
0 - 60 (Secs) : 5.30
0 - 100 (Secs) : 13.28
60 - 100 (Secs) : 7.98
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.72 Terminal Speed (MPH) : 101.62
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.52
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 103.49
