i'm going for a 32/34 webber carb on my astra 1.6, and i need a new fuel tank as current one leaks wen full so, just a couple of things....

1. i'm going for a 32/34, i know i could get like twin 40's or summit but id rather keep my money then on fuel all time, i just want my car to run fine, tick over nicley and not over fuel or anything, so would the 32/34 be ok?

and

2. what fuel tank should i get(if not another 1.2) and do i need anything else if i get a different fuel tank, ie, fuel lines, outlets.....

i dont know a great deal about this so treat me like an idiot.

thanks guys/gals.

1.2 carb fuel tank will work

u might have to fiddle with the breather thingy tho

as the injeciton uses a different system

have you thought about going for a bigger carb? idont mean twin 40's, but maybe something like the ones they used to put on mk1 astras and opel mantas. think they were 40dfav weber carbs but not sure. you will still be able to get decent fuel economy when set up right, but should have more power than with a 32/34
