Can someone show me a picture of a rear GSi Bumper And a rear standard Sr bumper please,

there the same, the gsi has a slightly bigger cut out though for the exhaust, yet you wouldn't notice this :D

if iwas going to upgrade exhaust would i need GSi bumper or would it fit?
Most rear pipes don't fit the very small square cut out fyi.

Does the front GSi bumper take the same clips as a standard sr bumper?
nova1992 i know you want my bumper
but going on this thread i am giving you some advise
if your going to a 4" exhaust on it
i wouldn't bother putting a gsi rear bumper on it.

Ok thank you, I think i will stay with standard :)
Plus £50 is way too much IMO for a GSi rear. People can barely give them away on here.

Lets be honest, the bumpers are the same. For some wussy reason GM felt the need to design in a bit of clearance for the OE 3" wide oval tailpipe. Bizarre! Most aftermarket tail pipes look best when the sit below the bumper anyway, so it's irrelevant. The only reason for buying a GSi bumper IMO is if its 2nd hand, it will already be colour coded & make re-painting it that bit less hassle.
As Craig said, a GSi rear bumper is just a poverty spec bumper painted the same colour as the car and with a widened exhaust recess but ive never had an exhaust that fouled the bumper and so needed a cut out, if you wants a colour coded rear bumper then paint it yourself or have it done as it will cost a damn sight less than £50 notes bud:thumb:

You can just cut a bigger hole in yours.

I use the standard bumper as well and it didn't need any mods to run with the Magnex 3" backbox:
