what the title says how hard is putting a mk1 front end on a mk2??

Pretty easy. The only problems I can forsee would be the front grille not having holes for the screws, but thats easily solved. Same for the headlight retaining clips.

Other than that it shouldn't be too hard. You'll need wings, indicators, headlights, clips, grille, bumper.

thats if i cannot get a white mk1 i will do this as it is a first car and want a mk1 or mk1 look car.

everything is there to screw on and dolt on the rear bumper is easy too

Im half way through this atm, just need some MK1 wings, lights and a GTE grill and im all done. Haven't hit any snags so far, sure I will though knowing me. (Sods law eh?)

I haven't been able to take pictures and stuff because my camera packed up, its just a case of a few adjustments here and there and everything fits in nicely. Not a hard job at all if your confident to make the modifications needed. Ill try and write something up for you but quite busy so not promising anything.

Don't mind yet mate as i have no shell should start looking in the new year found ans storage space permitting..

Meh, nearly complete lets say... 33% to be precise lol I have it all ready to buy anyways as soon as Xmas is over.
