Why is it when it snows people just automatically do 3mph everyhwere they go ?

Around here the snow hasnt even settled theres no ice and they drive like complete tards

Becuase people dunno how to drive properly. Yes you do have to be more cautious and extend the gap from the car infront as braking distances are increased but driving at snail pace is just stupid and probably ends up causing more bad then good.

I see people trying to accelerate in 1st gear off the lights etc guess the never heard of using 2nd or 3rd.

tickles me when people drive at a steady pace then try to brake, and then wunder why they slide! lol

everyone knows to slow using your gears!

lol ^ yeah then they look to the side and notice you braking without any trouble at all and their frustration just builds up.

Just been stuck behind them along the back roads here. The roads were gritted and clear, but there was snow in the fields so OMG slow down! lol

I've always been of the opinion that as most of us have messed about in cars in the snow at one point or another it makes us better prepared for when the car steps out or locks up etc.

Playing in the snow helps you learn the cars limits as we know. Only problem is (speaking from experience in FWD cars) if you are crawling along and the car decides to slide towards a curb because the street is an ice rink, pulling the handbrake, adding a bit opposite lock and giving it some power in 2nd/3rd to get away from the obstacle results in the Police car behind pulling you over. :roll:

A lot of them can't tell car control apart from p!ssing about and I'm sure they'd rather you hit the curb like the other 9/10 people. That must be driving 'right'.

Had that on the road between my village and Peterlee, clear roads, no problem, could have bombed round at 60 if I wanted to, but no, everyone wanted to do 15mph because there was some snow on the trees next to the road.

I like to LOL at people driving in snow. I managed to make it halfway to work last Feb in about 3" of snow in an XE Nova, whilst most other people were just pirouetting around with a look of horror on their faces.

Gave up halfway as there was one road I didn't like the look of, and after seeing three people spin round a roundabout then head down the road I was about to follow... didn't fancy them driving into me lol

Can't wait for snow here, as the Celica is working :d

Meh, I'd rather all the muppets who can't drive would stay at home. The worst thing about snow is the retards that slip and slide all over the place - I'm most worried about someone hitting me than me hitting someone else
