my nova is sorned off the road and ive just fitted a 2.0 in it. i want to tax it and register it as a 2.0 as its on the log book as a 1.2. im worried that if i send of to have it registered as a 2.0 im going to be waiting around for the log book 2 come back befored i can tax it and get it on the road. am i better off taxing it as a 1.2 then send the log book off, the re tax it as a 2.0 or not? how long have you lot had to wait for your logbook to come back as a 2.0?? cheers
You can tax it and send off the relevant paperwork at the same time aslong as you do it at a DVLA local office:thumb:

Who did you get to do the engineers report as i might have to get one for the mk1 conversion?

As spud said, go to the local DVLA office. You can then tax it as a 2.0, and they will retain your V5c to update, no hassle.
I had mine back through the post within a couple of weeks, plus I could drive the car as soon as I walked out the office.
