Usual route to Northampton from here is up the M5 to the M4, accross to J13 (iirc) then up past oxford on the A43/A34... (frm memory again).
Though this year me & Jack had been going cross country avoiding oxford & joining the M5 further North at Cheltenham (coming home) thus avoiding the awfull & dull M4.
Yeah as craig said either down towards oxford then onto the m4 either via the a34 or the a420 to swindon
or across to cheltenham then straight down the m5, the latter is slower but more intresting.

We were averaging the same journey times via cheltenham despite the lower road speeds. Far nicer roads & views as said. Infact there are 2 or 3 nice looking pubs I'd like to stop in next time.
ok cheers chaps. heres the new beast

Woah! You could carry your entire fleet on that.
I doubt you will be going through a Maccy D's drive-thru in that on the way home either. lol
it is large lmao. but better to be to big than to small

Too right!
Is it yours or shared?

very incorrect when it comes to recovery trucks, as its only a 3.5t limit you want them as lightweight and small as possible ideally, as if you stick anything remotely large on it your overweight tbh that truck with an escort on will be on its limit so no need to be big as its never going to be legal with a land rover or similar on.

Off with the chequer plate then!
Mate you should have said you were after a flat bed! Lad i know is selling one as he's sold his tramp drift car an has no use for it. Transit, double cabbed in matt black aswell lol
Doesnt look quite as posh as that mind.....
hmmm didnt think to put a wanted thread on here.
didnt think of that ben, ill get it weighed to see what exactly we can carry. i very much doubt it'll be anything like a landy though
yes jack i shall be popping into somerset, not sure when mind you.
No i know that mate but you will be very suprised on how little you can carry on some of them, the best pick ups are the ladder style beds made of ally.
When you look at things like a Mondeo weighs nigh on 1500kgs that only leaves 2tonne for the truck and tbh a standard sprinter or transit is more than that.
