Liking the sound of this Clicky... (http://www.nurburgring100.com/)
Shame about the price thou :(
looks good but £700 for a weekend is abit steep tbh.
All in aid of charity though
if it was 10 laps then yeah its tolerable value
if it was 10 laps then yeah its tolerable value
Thing is, you can book a 4 day weekend with a guided tour company for as little as £400 per car+driver an then an extra £279 per passenger lol
Thats half board catering included, ferry included etc basically everything except fuel, some food & beer & then track time (which id just buy up second hand via northloop site lol)
Its a shame a bloke i knew has now retired as he done this for a living, organising guided tours out there.
thats cheap imo.
Which one Luke? The £700 or the £400??
Im in the process of booking up for the £400 trip + extra for trackside walk & helicopter ride right this minute lol
EDIT: Ok maybe im not, as the site im currently using hasnt got dates that far ahead yet :( :( :(
hmm aside from a 4* hotel, its not really.
png invade Nurburg i say 2010 or 2011
2011 sounds good. mine might be ready then :P

HI guys,
The Nurburgring 100 is my trip and I noticed I was getting some hits from your forum so thought I'd register and say hello :)
The price is per car based on two people sharing.
Its a shame a bloke i knew has now retired as he done this for a living, organising guided tours out there.
The bloke you are referring to is Mav and I took over from him, still the same great tours just brought up to a date and with more on offer. Please see the main website for details.
Thanks for all the comments guys and hope to see some of you in June. :thumb:
Dino
Ps - a mate of mine George is on here, has a black caged up Nova GTE (1.6) with buckets - not sure what his username is though?
Dino, yeah ive heard your name mentioned by friends before.
I also know a George, she owns Mav's old Passat, the old girl (the passat i mean lol) is still going very strong :) was out in it the other weekend in Warrington of all places lol
Mav's now running an outfit doing VIP deliveries across Europe so I hear??

what show do you guys want? oschersleben is really, really huge, full weekend meet. then there's a very good show at the parking of the Opel factory in Bochum (Das werk ruft), that's just a 1 day show.
both are in germany to keep it easy for you guys lol
btw, if there's a euro/ring trip, i'll join you guys when you arrive on the mainland :)

£800 for 3 nights in a 4* hotel for 2 people, plus all the extras seems good to me.
A decent hotel in the UK would be £100 per night for 2 people.

Seriously pricey to go from Rosyth though :(
Seriously pricey to go from Rosyth though :(
yeah but the two huge bonus points are 1 I can get bevvied for most or the route and 2 it's less distance to nurse the nova home lol I don't mind the cost too much and it can't be that bad on the boat, I recently went from Ullapool to stornoway in winter seas and it was highly unpleasent, driving south is just an ****, I took the nova to Alton towers years ago ans swore I'd never take it a long drive again lol might also see if the wife would come too in my s3
