How much revs were you giving it for a 1.0 bottom end to pop? Everyone always says these engines are "bomb proof" lol

well i could hear the bottom end and i was only at about 3000 think no oil didnt help although i checked it thursday and it was at the right level.

i took the old engine out and got the e16se in nearly lol box in, shafts etc just the engine to put in now when i get the gearbox bolts and starter motor.

Just got to find the dreaded insurance and pay what ever it is :(

When looked after. Who knows the history of an old Nova???? (unless Jimbo has a folder of receipts for oil changes dating back to 1985) - that sounds like something from Back to the Future! lol
