Use a clean cloth and wax off some more.
Dongt do it when its too cold, as the heat from rubbing it in will make it mist up. Has it not been waxed in ages?

I was going to suggest conditions are too cold & the moisture in the air also.
Same as waxing on a summers evening, as soon as the dew forms on the ground, waxing just goes all cloudy.
As above its either too cold or too damp where youre doing it, youre best 'off-cloth' is a microfibre towel type cloth, these lift the polish/wax off the car rather than just scraping it about and turning it into powder like a normal cloth will do, clean cloths and keep at it, rotating and shaking out your cloth frequently and you should get it off eventually bud!

The more they cling to your hands (if your hands are ruff and have dry skin) then better they are, as its the "hooks" on them that lift the dust from polish and wax.. Just a buying tip.

They stick to mine like fecking velcro in the colder months, dermatitis caused by cold and six years of being a valeter lol
Your a good tester then...lol Glad your using Megs too.
I use megs when i can get hold of it for personal use but at the moment we use a local suppliers at work and i use a home made mixture of stage 1 & 2 of Gard-X paint protection when im polishing my cars lol
