no he didnt do a build thread, dont really know why - it took him a while to get the car all done and finished.. he and tina bought a house about a year ago- but yeah, i remember him telling me he'de bought an xe at pv2004, i think.. that was the beginning of the project, lol.
^ yea i know it took him ages to get round to doing, i think partly because he didnt have the time/space to do consistent work on it thought lol

I do have a WIP on another, site just never really go round to putting one up on here for some unknown reason :confused:
TBH, i think the main reason it took soooo long to do was when i bought the engine i didn't really know wtf i doing :) but it seemed a good idea at the time. And when we eventually came to fit it, we found the bottom pulley was loose, so took it off and the woodruff key was broke. Stripped the head the i had 14 bent valves and 7 broke guides :(
I'll see if there a way of copying a thread over..
Ahh yeah, i remeber you saying about the valves being fubar now!!

Yep, but they are 7J so a tight fit on the rear arches
