hi, i have a 1300 on the standerd pierburg 2e.

is it worth fitting a weber? i dont really know anything about them apart from ppl saying that its better =S

any info would be lovely

Ade had a few dozen of us fit one on his 13sr at the national day. pm him to see how its going

well, there were loads of people in that tent & his car looked like an airfix kit... I'm still shocked that it ran, let alone got him back to jockland

I had a 32/24 DMTL weber fitted to my SR (was fitted with a 1B1 Peirburg originally)

Car picked up much better, will improver performance slightly, sold the carb now though.

Running forties now though!

Yess!! Seems to rev up much nicer, did'nt really notice a big power increase but it loved to rev up!!

I would say so, was recomemded this conversion years ago when the SR was newish, by a weber dealer, rather than forties as they were more economical and more reliable tune wise.

Bearing in mind I had a 1B1 carb.

Now fully restored she currently has Sport forties, may eventually be fitted with Irmscher Injection;)

royston- nice i would run forties but dont wont mad mpg. might as well get a bigger motor. think i ill put some on =)
tho thinking about goin big block =S but i sort of want small block grrr
