Lol, would only be 208bhp with bodies any way, if you buy it and pop standard management on it would be more like 165bhp

A head would be the best part of £1k to have done by him?

Then all the rebuild parts say- £250

Then say a costcast head is worth £100 standard?

Its not worth £1350, but sure is a tiday engine!

Why would it be so cheap with throttle bodies?

If someone will sell me an xe, with a worked head, cams, verniers, rebuilt, with throttle bodies and management for £1350, ill sell everything for it!

Some people on this site are the dreamers, wanting everything for fk all:d

There are no TB's on that engine dumb ass!!! £1350 for what is essentially a rebuilt XE with some £££ spent on the top end is OTT. But then i'd expect you to pay for it. You believe you are about to buy a 40k XE lol

Why wouldn't it be 40k?

And if you read it again, I said, if it had throttle bodies and management I would buy it:roll:

I cannot believe for one second it has 40k on it. Maybe 40k since it was rebuilt??

I am told, and believe it has!

I will be able to tell, if I go to his mums, and its cacked in oil and greese, the headgaskets hanging out the side, and it smells of baby sick, then its fooked!

If I turn up, and could eat my dinner off of it, and the clutch is mint, and looks to be original! Then maybe!

If I buy it ill send over some piccies:thumb:

That is one regular book with a nice shiney cover.

I dare say it owes hium that kind of money though & it would cost that much to build another. Its not a rip off but the price isnt tempting. Typical motorsport pricing really.
