computer buffs

since a wee computer clean i havent been able to get onto hotmail etc, cant get onto anything i have to type my password into.....

any ideas?

It had saved your passwords before so they were already typed in but now they are gone ?

Just re enter your user name and password and it will ask if you want to remember these password and press yes.

but you might have a different problem to that.

You had to type a password in to get in here...

Try another browser and see if that does the same..

even when i type it it says cannot find server. but all the ones that auto sign in like png and nig all work fine

Try a reinstall/reset to defaults. Failing that switch to Opera :p.

back up all your files, and format your hard disk then reinstall windows. that should solve your problem

If your running firefox then, try this

On Vista/7 : Close FF and press, Start > Run > firefox -p

XP : Start > Run > "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager (might need to try with and without the quote marks)

Create a new user and give that a go...

First try a different browser. That will tell you if its browser specific or something to do with your connection.

Sounds like you've blocked SSL or something though. Check cookies and look under tools > options > advanced > encryption and check that SSL3 is ticked

I have been an IT Tech for a few years.

When you have opened your browser (Firefox) Click tools and check that priate browsing is not enabled if so just click stop private browsing. If problem still occurs give me a shout.
