I know some one who has carried out a conversion (1.0-1.4sri) and he wants to know if he will be fine sticking with the standard 1.0 rad??

Hmmm 1.0 rad has the wrong pipe connections?

Go on the sel imperial site, go to radiators and see if they list the 1.0 and 1.4 rads under the same part no, obviously if they do then you wont need to change anything, i'm thinking that they are different though tbh, i know that on a Corsa b the 1.0 and 1.4 rads are different.

They are different iirc - two big hose connectors on n/s on 1.0

Definately listed differently on ebay in anycase!

So would a 1.2/1.4 rad fit on the same mounts?

Yep, 1.2 rad will be fine.

1.0 radiator can technically be used but its not worth it. I rigged up a 1.0 radiator to a 1300 and it involved having a pipe running across the slam panel as the 1.0 radiator has both big pipes on one side.

Basically, its worth getting the right rad, anything from a 1.2-1.6 petrol nova will do.
