That must have been some humming sound system. I wonder if it was the valve system? Well if I had to choose a way to go, this would be it, no disrespect. RIP Tom Reid - he was only a young lad too.
I read that yesterday. Way to go. lol

:( Such a shame, never knew there was such a disorder. Just one of those things. How life is there one minute and taken away the next.
i wouldn't have minded so much if the poor lad was listening to decent music at the time of his demise..... but that crap!!!!!!

In your location it says next to the speakers, stand a bit closer and put the bass on full. For scientific reasons.

I'm a man, I can take it and survive. Tried and tested on the valve sound system :)

At the end of the day, the kid had an unknown heart condition/illness which led to the failure of his heart. Standing infront of the speakers for most people probably wouldn't have much ill effect apart from a headache.

No, no. Be my guest!
Oh ffs
There was no trace of alcohol or drugs in his body and his heart was in good condition.
A coroner recorded a verdict of natural causes, saying the straight-As student was killed by sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS), a heart disorder which kills 12 young people a week.
Can anyone spot the crap reporting there?
[edit] Hang on, isn't there a Tom Reid member on here?!

I have titinitus from machinery at work (all of which were below the legal limits set by the HSE), so I don't really like loud music (although I do like screaming, howling 2 stroke motorbikes for some reason)

I THINK its to do with the electronic pulses that cause your heart to beat, something just triggers that to start not working right/at all, making your heart stop/beat abnormally. So your heart would LOOK normal/be in fine condition.....??
so Gloria Estefan was right........the rhythm really is gonna getcha
What was he listening to mowgli?
modern dance music........................
seriously loud pumping noise... at work I have to obey sound level rules, but young people are going deaf because of loud music in clubs & they aren't really aware its happening till its too late. we had a lad who did some work for us... he had £3.5k of ICE in his car, and enjoyed sound offs etc. he was also deaf as a post at normal sound levels. if I asked him to do something involving a measurement, i would have to re-do it, until i twigged & just kept passing him notes of the measurements
