Breakers yards Newcastle

I'll be travelling over to Newcastle several time over the next few months and was thinking of searching scrappies for Nova parts while there.

Can any Newcastle/Gateshead locals recomend the most likely places to get some bits?

there is johnsons vauxhall specialists at graghead but ask AlanH he will be able to tell you some good ones around the newcastle area

There is a couple of Nova's in some yards down Middlesbrough, one or two are in good condition too, or so I'm told.

Try H Pringles in Newburn - used to be good but got some young w@nker working there now, but you never know.

Marshalls in Newburn - pricey and usually no Nova's lol

Gosforth Metals - Gosforth. Cheap and FTW

M&J (iirc) near Tyne Tunnel trading estate - haven't been in ages but used to be cheap.

Backworth auto dismantlers, Backworth. They had a 12 door Nova in a couple weeks back.

N.E Motor salvage - Peterlee. No Novas, but the best yeard by a country mile.

All the good ones are disappearing :(

Never seen a Nova up at Craghead TBH. I can confirm Pringles and Backworth have them though.

Marshalls used to have a mint 3dr china blue poverty model and a 12 door saloon. Not that long ago TBH. He has the cleanest 3dr mk4 Escort ATM. Sadly someone has cut a quarter off it. :( Ideal bade for my RS1600i rep. lol

Ha ha nice one. If its a Northern thing i'm just as Northern as you, i'm on the West coast though! Not much over this way now, used to be some good stuff but not any more.
