so more coppers on bikes and only 1 patroling the streets instead of 2

traffic cops should be in 1.0 3cyl 12volt corsas (H) every ****er would be running from them
aussie coppers use vxr8's but they are called commodore hsv's
so more coppers on bikes and only 1 patroling the streets instead of 2
Is that the total for the whole of the uk in an average week?

according to my uncle cops used to use unmarked xr2s/205 gti's to bait people into street races etc.
humberside police used to run a escos, with wrc suspension and a few other bits. fully stickered up, it made a breif re appearance a few years ago to catch street racers. we had an early scoob and a cali turbo cop car too.

Local fuzz round here went through a phase of having undercover nab cars a while back that were modified - they had a red modded P1 Impreza that they'd bait the local charvs with, then nick them after racing it lol

The local traffic cop around here has a scooby cop car, looks ace lol
Apart from that though all you see is astras and transits. As said, would be so cool seeing them in xe novas and the likes lol

The one in service around here was stolen. From the police compound no less. Sounds a bit Gone in 60 seconds i grant you, but it happened. lol
Lol urban legend with ours was that the twoccers realised how expensive it was to repair the cossie so they used to set traps for it, steal a car lead it round then to a pre arranged area where other stolen cars would be waiting to ram it and cause as much damage as they could, good plan as they put it out of service as it was too costly to keep repairing, they went to the scoobies after that and SOLD both cossies!

Im thinking its fairly true tbh as i was told by a lad who worked in the bodyshop the feds use and by someone who reckoned he was one of the drivers of said stolen cars lol
A few people told me it was cos they couldnt handle all the speedbumps, err its a rally car so that idea is a crap one then lol

in warrington a few years back they used a seized yellow xe nova just for that. they also used to turn up at the "warrington cruize", a big organized weekley meet which the police were involved in, so most people knew about it. kinda fail, but at least they stopped to have a chat
