cutting roll cage

ok so i found a 6 point roll cage for sale only problem is its a welded into the car and the lad selling it said he would cut it out im just wondering where he should cut it so not to make a mess of it

obviously the plate on the floor but where else be safe to cut it so i can get it out of car

sorry if stupid question but i dont want to get a cage and it in fooked

ALSO IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN MK1 AND MK2 Cage???

is the car getting scrapped? tell him to cut the car instead, then you can tidy it up when it arrives

Very wise words, for Gods sake don't let him cut the actual cage.

When i have done it before i cut the chassis out around the feet with the intentions of takign the original plates off and rewelding new ones on.
