If i lower car 60mm will it rub the arches with 5 people in?

I am stuck between lowering my nova 60mm or 35mm front/40mm rear.
I have 14" alloys on 175 wide. Will it rub at all if it is fully loaded? I would use the ?200 gmax springs and shocks. I've heard that just replaciong the springs isn't as good a ride.

i lowered min 60mm with standard wheels didn't rub it shouldnt rub on standard wheels

lower 60mm. if needs be get your arches done - its not expensive

i've carried upto 6 peeps in my nova
(driver passenger, 3 in back and 1 in boot) and it scrubbed a little as they were all about 12 stone (fat shits))
but as you can imagen that was unsafe :lol:

yeah its only round town when i got more than 2/3 peeps in.
Should i forkout the xtra cash and get shocks aswell as springs? or just springs? IS there THAT much diff?

yes get shocks as well there not much more expensive also ur standard shock will fail not so long after that as there not shortened. dont just go for springs on there own

ive always got away with zip ties on the rear of my old car..........

I had a nova lowered 60mm on 15's and had to replace the shocks after about 2 weeks. if ur gonna lower definatly change ur shocks, i used gsi shocks cos mine was only a 1.2. if u do this u should have no problems.

40mm is a waste of time go 60mm
