im going seriously old skool atm, i have the mega drive and the master system rigged up, and im well loving sonic 2 and sonic 3, but i got sonic 1 for master system for 2 quid from blockbuster. i may get an xbox next week, £20 from them...

I got my Mega Drive and Master System (including Sonic/Dr. Robobnik stickers) - both mk1's of course out of the loft the other month.

When I set them up I was thinking the console or RF adaptor was fkd but I forgot you had to tune the TV in. Hadn't done that in years. lol

lolz, i got my mint boxed megadrive2 with 2 pads 4 games and all the books and orig box for £20. my cousin spent 10 mins loling because it wouldnt work...

LOL sonic is easy, you just hold down, press B a few times and blast through the entire level.

Even in 1991 when I was 9 I could complete the entire game on the MS in about 10 mins lol

Lotus turbo challenge was a great game, must have been one of the first games you could 'do up' your car, that and super offroad.

ive had the mega drive on latley with the little lad.....golden axe,streets of rage, ghosts and gouls,r type,john madden,street fighter,super hang on........ the list goes on and on top games though, until you switch the ps3 on lol

Ghost and Gouls, is that like Super Gouls and Ghosts on the SNES? Thats hard as nails, took me about 2 years to complete. Did it in the end though, it's got to be one of best acheivments of my life, that and the fact I can turn my eyelids inside out.

I did go through a phase of buying GG games but then the prices went mental, so shall be selling the GG and loads of games soon.
