well, just bought a savgage corsa, got a big body kit, massive sound system and some 17's on it(not bad for a 17 year old eh:thumb: ) just wondering how do i go about gettin the 1l engine turbo charged?? my mate has a t70 turbo he sed i can have, so i was thinking, could i weld it onto the manifold some how? what else do i need?

cheers

Bluetak

Tape

But by the sounds of it, your stupid little mind couldn't even unwrap the tape!

And you can only dream of owning a vauxhall....

short answer: dont do it. its not simple

longish answer: dont do it, its not simple, you would probably need to change all the internals of the engine for higher compression pistons etc etc etc.

and then you will just blow it up anyway.

i go by the rule, if its not turbo'ed in the first place it shouldnt have one!

like if i run it at a really low boost i shouldnt have trouble, ive read that the internals could well take .5 bar of boost. does i need an intacooler too or could i get away without it?

lol any more pressure on an engine will not do it any good tbh, it will compromise the reliability and blow up in time.

You'd get better performance if you ditched the intercooler and used a chargecooler that was plumbed into the coolant system in place of the heater matrix.

i see, would it be better to go the c20 route?? insurance would be a killer tho

insurance would be a killer if you turbo a 1 litre! still have to declare it.

Stick a 1.6 in it and get the same power.....insurance will be expensive but legit
