At what temp do they cut in?

Would it be safe to use the 1.2 fan switch whilst the LET is in?

Want to know if it will be safe to run the 1.2 fan switch when the LET is in. I was wondering if they both start running the fan at the same temp.

since the engine has to be overheating to make the switch kick in the fan id assume both operate at the same temp as a guess.

Hmmm, I see what you are saying. I wondered if there would be a difference as one is an engine prone to getting hotter so asumed that the fan kicked in earlier. TBH I would have thought it did but obviously not sure hence my question :)

Fan might cut a couple of degrees lower but not worth it. If your worried have a override switch in the fuse box hidden.

I was actually thinking that tbh, having a manual fan switch so I can flick it on when there is an obvious traffic cue & me stuck in it.

So glad Vauxhall left so many blank spaces in my dash lol
