No Olly, you're absolutely correct.
And you will see no real gain in performance and etc. It'd just make noise. And that's it.

Bluddy ell! Sounds missions AND a lot ov cash!!
I may pass on that 1... :(
No point. Diesels have low compression turbos, so don't supply enough pressure to need a dump valve in the first place

There is a few readily available but they are apparantly expensive as fcuk! ?400ish me thinks! And as everyone else has said, unless you want the noise (poor it may be too) don't bother!

would sound nice though but im sure it costs a packet. the bloke who did it in fast car on his 306 was some sort of electronic enginer, he wired up some sort of senolid or sumthing so it would go off every time he took his foot of the acelerator pedeal

no compression in the turbo means it won't giv a good sound out. your better off spending the money on something else, better ways to spend 400 nicker than a dump valve you proberly won't hear over your sounds

i own a diesel aswell and i've been told your best bet is a bleedvalve, turn up the boost and a boost guage then just airfilter and full exhaust system. It gets complecated after that with removing rev limiters etc

Forgive me if I'm wrong but.......
If you want Performance, won't petrol be a better option????
I know Diesels can be made to go fast but It's so much more work.....
