I'm on Rally Designs site and just totalling up some Polybushes for the Nova.

What is the difference between the Polysport bushes and the Polyrace ones. Overall price difference is £4.

Just some info really wondering if it's worth going spending that extra 4 quid.

Believe its the hardness mate - ie polysport are a bit 'softer'

I see, it will be used on the road so I gues theres no need to go for the super hard stuff.

Whats the total price for the whole set? I was looking at getting these but for £4 you might as well go all out and get the harder ones.
The suspension isnt exactly going to be comfortable anyway is it!? lol

Well for Rear Beam, TCA & Tie Bar bushes (2 packs of each as it says on RD) the PolySport ones are £36.91 inc vat and the Polyrace ones are £40.59 inc vat.

The current ride quality is good mate, yeah it's stiffer then standard but it's no where near bone breaking, thats on H&R springs, new shocks and standard GM bushes.

Unless its on track id go for the softer ones, that or gen gm stuff.

If the race ones are going to be considerabley harder then the normal poly ones then there isn't really much point in risking ride comfort for £4. I'll stick to normal poly's.

£46 is cheap though. What would Vauxhall charge for a set of GM rubber bushes? Anyone know?

Well just the lower arm bushs are £18 each iirc

Have you tried Floflex, they are fairly and cheap and service is great. Got most of mine from there.

I'd give them a ring and see how much difference there is with the two :thumb:

Polysport are probably for fast road useage and have some flex. Polyrace will be solid!! IMO save £4 and your fillings lol

Got the Polysport bushes all round on the SR from Raldes, pleased with the ride.

The sport has some "race" poly bushes can't remember the make, and it is harsh on rough surfaces, fine on smooth roads though i.e. dual carraigway, etc

i have the polysport but im rebuilding the nova soon i bought the poly race ones. as ive sold the wishbones with the polysport in. if youve stiff springs as it is the difference will make naff all difference to be fair.

Think I'll stick with the Polysport ones, uprated over standard but road usable. I'll save the £4 for something else lol

Haven't tried Floflex, may go search for them see what they cost but £46 with vat & del is a bargain.
