wondering if anyone can help, my c25xe engine keeps dropping down to 5 cylinders, i noticed the rocker gaskets were leaking into the spark plugs and thought that might be the problem but now i have sorted them its still the same, sometimes it will just kick in and run fine then drop again. anyone got any ideas?
cheers

is it quite common for it to be the leads? as i dont want to pay £50 for leads to find they wernt the problem.
Plastic or metal cam covers?

Bide your time as RJ has learnt a lot on this. (back me up lol)
lol
The plastic covers warp, mine did and caused the same problem. Swapped for metal ones and its fine now.

surely thats not going to stop it running like it is as ive cleaned it all up and as soon as i started it its still running on 5?
You can see the amount of sealer i had on my plastic covers and the bloody things still leaked!

Get some Vectra metal ones and try some leads

could the airflow meter have anything to do with it? as ive jus noticed a split in the pipe and thought maybe its not running on 5 its just spluttering because its not getting the right air?
