i've bought these bad boys for £80. Did them last night and yer there good but the peddle is a bit spongie. Gonna give it another bleed next week. But if that doesn't work is ther anything else i can do to improve it or the brakes i.e master clyinder??

Most people find there a bit iffy iirc, usualy a lot of travel.

The only thing you can do is a bigger master cylinder, but im preety sure apart from some mk1 astras that are uber rare there all the same size?

No need for V6 stoppers anyway :p

There's been quite a few people who have tried the 288's and gone back to 256's due to pedal feel issues... Try adding some goodridge flexi's or similar as that should help.

Nick.

My 288's are fine. Adjust the linkage between the pedal & servo under the dash. Just a turn or 2.

If you want bigger brakes but a nice pedal feel and you already have 256's then the turbo 284's are best IIRC.

As said before need to beef up the master cylinder and servo, my uncle had a similar issue when he ran his race nova with rear discs.
