looks tidy but IMO to make it look the best put the battery in the boot and run AX wiper setup. just to clear the crap out there

My mate did this so he could put the bigger trumpets on his throttle bodies, does look tidy.

I don't think it looks that tidy.

Con, if you still run the fan, your sucking every smell and gas in to the car from the engine bay.
Con, to do it right you need to remove the very good working wiper set up for something crap.
Con, for it to look nice you need to move the battery.

unless you need to take it out whats the point ?

looks gash imo and ruins the look of the nova bay.

i chopped the lot out on myn it was semi cut out when i got the car so i thort sod it its goin! i had an ax wiper linkage sitting about, so it was done using an anglegrinder

this is haw it was when i got it, it had been cut out to allow for xe air intake

http://i565.photobucket.com/albums/ss96/crazyfarmer_2009/Jeremy14014.jpg
then i cut it all away and welded up the hole's for heater and heater matrix pipes, reloccated battery to the boot now my bay looks like this

I don't remember why I ended up removing mine, but it makes the bay seem big roomier which is nice.

I drilled the spotwelds out but realised there wasn't a lot of point and used an angle grinder. Then stitch welded it together.

i think it a good thing to do for a track car if you blank off the heater blower vent as i would keep temp down in the bay.

But if you decided to do it then dont like the engine fumes inside the car your pretty fooked really. lol

I'm with Benn on this one. I relocated stuff and smoohed it and I think it looks great as you can then use your scuttle cover to hide the ugly bits and keep the exposed bits looking smooth and simple...

I then had to sadly remove mine as a matter of space for my conversion...
