hi need some info on rods

looking to but either P.E.C rods or autosprint rods for my x16xe.

but anyone know if i can use my standard pistons with the above rods? as iv just got brandnew oversized (o.5) pistons and had my block bored out to match,
any help is much appreciated.:thumb:

yes mate ebay do the better set.they are made of a uprated plastic which helps with booost.but mind you dont blow the iffy woffer valve.ohh and keep a eye on the headlight water level. hahaha joking lol

why would you want to use standard pistons if you have just got new ones? and had your block bored out? it does not make much sence to be honest

n/a engine but already bought the new pistons so want to use them instead of wasting my money by not using them

If you have had your block bored out you will need new pistons (you have got some) depends whether you are going hi reving/ power then new rods could be a good thing if you have the money? seeing as you have got new pistons I would get new rods aswell.
