amp powers , but no sound !

i have a pioneer amp which is running 2 kicker subs , when u turn the head unit on , the speakers click , the amp comes on , u get sound for about 2 seconds , and then the sound goes off , but the power is still on . i have tryed another amp and it works fine .
any help would be appreciated :0)

i put another amp in there and its all working ok now. :D
so does any 1 know how to fix a pioneer amp i had it apart but could not see any think wrong.

take it 2 sextons, but, ive gotta wait 10 days 4 parts which i didnt have a call about, i had 2 ring them, so im at max power next wekend with no sub kicking!

Well, they sed theyd ring me if it was over ?50 if it is il go mental on em and tell em they was spose 2 ring me! also, i asked him what was wromg with it and the price, last thursday, he sed hed ring me back! iv not yet recieved a call! personally i h8 Cardiff sextons, some of the staff aint got are nobs! iv had bad words b4 with a broken cd autochanger, oh well, happy days!
