redtop = problem child again

on my redtop i got the vacum hoses conncected to the brake servo, this is not right isist?? on my mates he has the later type wiring loom and has a little box thing with a plug in the bottom and two vacum hoses coming out of it. does this need to be connected and could this be the problem why my car is not fast and not running right?????

I presume you mean the gas recirc valve, the pies don't need to be connected but I'd blank it off a the tb and leave it plugged in so you ecu light isn't on
