I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast this morning, and now i have just enjoyed it for the second time.
i saw that for sale for ages....had some chav in the background of the photo with one hand in his pants...that same hand has probably touched the steering wheel! urgh!
please say he didnt pay a lot for it!

If the engine is standard then it should be no more than 150bhp, that's all a C20XE came with. 280bhp would be highly expensive to get without a turbo or supercharger.
id much prefer to have the R5 personally. Please say he is removing the kit?

Very oh dear! That thing needs stripping back totally, selling all the chav parts and getting some proper original kit back on to make it look respectable.
Doubt 280BHP very much as there would need to be a spec list as long as my d*ck (trust me that would be a hell of a spec list lol)

plan is to put to a gte again and the owner sais it was in maxpower or fast car couple of years ago as its been passed on to so many people its been stripped nand raped lol

Lads are running 250 in rally cars and grassers, on £2k worth of throttle bodies, cranks, rods, pistons, servere headwork, and cams, verniers, 2.1 rebores etc!

I don't think it could ever possibly be 280 bhp with a kit like that.
personally id just rip the kit off and make it look standard..leave the engine in. Its definitely not 280nhp but from reading barryboys site it looks like he planned to LET it

well its been around since 2005 by looking at barryboys we all laughed when he said 280bhp we got told some on here had it thats why i put this post up.
im sure whoever used to own that when i was still something like a nova...they will be very sad to see it now.
i just found it on here when it was yellow looks like abit of money has been spent on it???

The Nova is awesome. Keep it as is and use as a reminder for todays generation to stay away from fibreglass unless it's used to lighten the car. lol

the colour and arches are nice. would be good if he could somehow make it a wide looking GSi. however, no way on earth is that 280bhp.
at least it has found an owner who is going to sort it all out.

The lad was local to me, we all laughed when he said he was gonna put 18s on his then standard black nova gte, he said pah - i'm going 19s now, and 2 years later that evolved!

Hmmm, not so sure. In yellow it doesnt look as bad! Maybe because some, yes some, thought has gone into it. Black bonnet, contrasting alloys etc. The new blue colour does it no favours. A crusher would.

oh my....I cannot think of an appropriate word to describe the poor state of this nova,lets just hope the new owner cures it
Can remember when it was built and at the center of the PV stand next to breeny's turbo.
Never been a fan of kitted novas but when it was built it really stood out from the rest trash about at the time and was really well made with great attention to detail, a lot of time and money went into it but thats a far cry of how it stands now!

got £40k in reciepts, this can never be put back to standard its too far gone. the engine is 180bhp ish cammed up ported & polished head, ported throttle body, chipped ecu.
the wiring was a right mess when i got it couldnt be bothered with it so stripped it of all good parts (huge 4 pots, 19's, sound system)and sold it then its had about 20 owners since lol
rip out the engine and scrap it :thumb:
