sr steel sizes

anyone know what sizes they made these in ?
im a bit confused myself on how many different versions were made.

i only know the 5.5J x14 where the black face versions, founds on mk2 novas: SR and SRI and SXi models..
there also was a 5J x 14 version of that wheel, but i dont know on what..

I think they came on cavaliers or something..

i bet the sport 13's are rare, what kinda brakes did the sport have under them i wonder ?

Aye the Sport wheels are hard to get

I think I have a complete set of 5Jx14 SRi Nova wheels out the back with no centre caps or tyres though

Got some 4.5Jx13's as well and 3 5.5Jx14's

Probably would get damaged mate - I have no use for them

If I came into a bit of money I'd get them re-furbed and try and sell them on for a small profit but there in the hut doing nothing!

83-87 sr steel wheels were 13" as used on the swing and GL
87-91 they used the 13" wheels with the five big long holes with wheel covers as used on all 13" wheeled novas after 91 except sr.
91 on, back to the first 13" wheels (83-87) but painted black.
Similar wheel were used on gte/gsi but were always 14"/
Only wheels for sr that were standard 14" were the alloys.

Just to add to the widths, I don't reckon any Nova was ever supplied with a 5.5J wheel. 5J being widest, as per the GTE 3 spokes & the GTE steels. SRs had 165/70 tyres & the 1600's wore 175/65 profiles.

I had Cavalier 14's on a Nova of mine, they looked wide, arch clearance on a mk1 was tight.

I have 2x new Astra SR rims which are 5.5j x 13 in the same design as the early SR/Swing/Sport rims.
