as said. looks like its curved to avoid exhaust unlike ones that popped up before? and its adj so could be made short enough

i think it will still be too wide. nova ones do appear on the bay often enough.

the lower brace isn't that scientific, maybe a local fabricator will knock you one up for a bargain price

Corsa ones dont fit.

I had quite a few Nova ones i sold off sometime ago chap, might still have one or two up in the loft.

Is it effective though?

If it's a) effective, b) cheap to fabricate and c) easy to fit (easy as say an upper strutbrace) then it's a worth while mod and I'll probably get one lol

I wouldnt bother with one again. They sit waaay to low to the floor.

Dont know, never drove it lol

Cant see them making any significant improvement at all thought really. Altho it was mega handy as a grab rail when working under that car when i had it.

Was actually thinking about ground clearance. Pics would help see how close they sit, if anyone has them fitted.

That says it all then really, if it were needed then most people would have it fitted tbh.

Well, if they were that good OMP/Sparco would make them an add them onto there lick & stick list for everyone to buy.

So i guess they dont make them for a reason.

Which is a bonus as i was selling them for about £60 a peice LOL lol

Would making one that went above the exhaust, not below it be better?

With a stitch welded bay, is it worth wile? For an xe?

You wont get one above the exhaust if using an after market 2 an qaurter inch+ system.

They could be worth while, i dont know. Problem being the only ones Ive ever seen for sale other then mine, was one on here & another on ebay. So you will have to make your own.
