Well i think if you manage to stop the show boating then youre a certain to win seen as how you have the weight advantage:thumb:

Jim
03-12-09, 08:46 PM
Not necessarily Spudly. Extra weight gives you more traction out of the slower corners in the wet.

if one was organised for next year on the day that this one is on, with monthly payments, then i'd be able to sneak £10 per month past the politburo.. finding the funds from october onwards is just too difficult

Aye, ill probably open up the booking for next years in the middle of the summer. If we dont have enough drivers by the time I have to pay the deposit with the karting place, then we can axe the day without losing any money.

Dare i say it.....cant help feeling that people have felt abit of a pinch this year money wise. I know i have. Abit of notice about next years would see better numbers IMO. I for one would keep abit of money aside each month to pay a deposit.

I agree. I'd have been able to commit much more easily if it was a half-day event for say £55, and I'd sooner see the event change to that than stop altogether.

Thing is though, the karting has been on the calendar since january. Its not like we sprang it on everyone.

i understand what your saying about doing just a half day event and making it cheap, but this is supposed to be the national event and a lot of people drive a long way for it and I feel it needs to be worth the drive.

If you want a cheap day on the karts, organise one in your region, but the national karting will stay as heats and then an endurance unless interest dies out completely :)

Hobbit
04-12-09, 08:29 PM
