I was in lane 2 of a dually, passing slow moving traffic queing to exit on to a sliproad that was slow due to roadworks, some woman decided she didnt want to queue anymore, so pulled out right in to my path. I was doing 60 ish but didnt give me chance to scrub more than a 20mph off so wacked her at about 40mph. She spun 180 degrees I ended up in lane one. To rub salt in the wound I got done for due care and got 8 points an £1k in fines and fees! BITCH.

Glad you changed the mk1 front end to mk2 l14m, dont care what anyone else says, looks so much nicer!

I never knew you had a primera, wouldnt have been my choice of car but im loving the front wheel view and the plans sounds ace. if you have a project thread il check it out.

TBH it's my first car and not something I would have chose but my dads workmate was selling it.
I only got it as at the time it was newer and much better specced than other stuff I was looking at, Novas Cav GSi etc lol. Then I modified it as it was 'different' no-one had them and you couldn't get parts for them. I used to like that. Now it's just a PITA not being able to buy an off the shelf cage etc. They handle very well though. Used to be class leading. Dunno what mine will be like with my DIY adjustable beam and front top links/bottom arms though! lol
it's the front wheel view that made me tear it all apart and go for the ST look mate. I had planned to years ago, hence the RL7's, and I had another CF splitter but I bottled it lol. No turning back now. everything is chopped out!

lol don't I look a dick now about the nova front end, however il stand by my comment and say it looked better as a mk2 ;)

The plans sound ace for the primera, hopefully you'll do it correctly and won't end up like some examples iv seen. RL7s are the best wheels ever, never change them!

And yes, the black corsa and unit was mine :)

lol. Each to their own on the Nova's dude. TBH in my pics it looks much better as a mk2 as it's clean and not having an identity crisis! lol

I won't fcuk the Primera up. I've seen shoddy BTCC reps in my time and I think the biggest mistake people make is spending more on vinyl than anywhere else and trying to cut corners with replica splitters, still running side skirts etc you get the idea. I won't be getting any vinyl, white shell/cage/wheels with exposed carbon, flared front wings, probs a different spoiler. That one is from a works Mondeo.
It will never be a true replica as I realised a while ago it's impossible, centre lock wheels etc etc. mine will be more of a take on one. I have hollowed doors, boot etc. no fixed parcel shelf/seat supports etc anymore so we'll see how it turns out lol. I've made poly side windows and will be buying the front and rear screes from a guy who gets ST spares as I want to get it as light as possible.
We're back to that 'different' thing again lol. Except this time it won't be gay different - I hope. lol

I've never had a car on the rollers. I'd be crapping it too! Esp. if it's like the raised one my mate went to where the fan was barely blowing against the bottom of the bumper. lol

I have to say it bugs me something crazy that I dont have any pictures of my GSi when I bought it, totally standard back in 99 on the 3 spokes. All the pics i have of it are after I lowered it & started fitting it out with alloys.
