Hi all, im doing a "different" engine conversion to my nova and to help work it all out i need pics of either the clutch side of an XE motor or the bellhousing side of an F20 showing the bolt holes in detail. I have an XE and F20 In my astra GTE but is fitted and cant make out the bolt pattern, Many Thanks, Rich. :thumb:

Im doing a S13 transplant, just need to see how much of a bast its going to be to marry it up to an F20 box. Ive done a search, someones done it into a manta and thats about it.

Wut? You're putting an S13 engine into a Nova? On an F20?

Yes, keeping the engine standard to start with n see how it goes.

SR20 would be the better one to go with, i know a couple of folk who have had CA18's with endless troubles

i wanted to put one of these engines in a classic nissan cherry or bluebird.

Nice engine and very tuneable. Not sure about sticking it in a nova front wheel drive though. More trouble than its worth surely.

If your intent on using the engine why not make it rear wheel drive and use the whole sylvia running gear and shortened prop

Will be very interesting if this goes ahead, make sure you get a project thread up and good luck.
