My First Nova 1995-1997

Just found a pic off my first pearlesent Nova.It started as a £800 B-reg 1.0 moccabrown,replaced every panel with genuine gm-wings/doors/rear quarters & brand new oz polaris 17inch alloys (£1500 via Bankloan),gsi interior,not pictured is a zender rear (shopping trolley style) spoiler:roll: that met a firey end:eek:

Probably a 9 inch exhaust and a flamer kit.

after all that work its was a real shame.

my mate was welding a small patch on floo:tard: r & it caught fire nearly took the house with it. Scorched the parents new driveway to bits. A few bits were salvagable from the car ,doors were fine apart from a small kink in the pillar(cheers Mr Fireman the car was unlocked).Wings bonnet grill & wheels were untouched. Denon dca800 amp was fine(2nd fire its been in & still works and going strong to this day).My Mate offered to pay me up but was just glad no-one was injured. The lady at the scrapyard said that she would get a few £££ for the wheels (dont think so & swiftly removed them):thumb:

Looks canny in the high quality scanned image considering the late 90s / early 00s were awash with gash glue on bits. Shame about the ironing board spoiler :(

Mate sounds a good welder too. Was he using a flamethrower for his spark?

I love when people dig out old scanned photo images, always makes me lol for some reason
