Anyone know much about audi tt's???????

My girlfriends audi is making a few odd noises, there is a clicking/chirping noise from the alarm sounder in the back (im guessing its doing that because its internal battery is fekt?)

also a random wooshing/bubbling from the centre consol, mayb heater matrix?:confused:

it an 03 1.8 turbo quattro jobby, the 225bhp one.

A car supermarket i worked at a while back had an A4 that did the alarm thing, sounds like internal battery as you said, audi only job iirc and tbh not sure on the other bits but id get it in to them as there aint much you can do yourself on new cars these days!

I owned one for a couple of years. Nightmare car to work on yourself.

Sounds to me like the alarm battery. There is a how to guide on the TT forum.

wossssshy bubbly noise isnt the best imho.

the other halfs 106 did that a few months before blowing the HG. Best get it checked rather than jumping to a scared conclusion
